Canadian Authors BC Open Mic Night: Wednesday, Sept 8, 2021 7:00-8 :30 pm
Event details: Each author has 5 minutes. The author will be reading from Charlee LeBeau & The Gambler’s Promise along with other BC authors. The event will be held via Zoom.
Powell River Public Library: Saturday, September 11, 2021 2:00-3:00pm
Event Details: In this online event, the author will read excerpts from both Charlee LeBeau books, speak about the books and answer questions from readers.
Whistler Independent Book Awards 2020- October 16, 2020
Charlee LeBeau & The Gambler’s Promise has won the WIBA award for best fiction 2020! The author will join the “Writers Of Fiction” panel at the Whistler Writers Festival, on Saturday, Oct 17 4-5 pm.

Charlee LeBeau& The Gambler’s Promise was chosen as one of three fiction FINALISTS in the Whistler Independent Book Awards for 2020! It is an incredible honor to be selected from among so many great Canadian indie writers. The winner will be announced in conjunction with the Whistler Writers Festival, to be held in October 2020. BC Writers
The BC Federation of Writers hosts free online author and reader events. On Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 2:00p.m., C.V. Gauthier will be reading excerpts from Charlee LeBeau & The Gambler’s Promise. In addition to the readings, there will be an opportunity to learn about writing, the author process as well as participate in a Q & A.
LIVE! Book Launch “Charlee LeBeau & The Gambler’s Promise” – December 9, 2019 in Steveston, BC
The book launch was held at the Chinese Bunkhouse in the Britannia Shipyards Heritage site in Steveston. About 70 people attended the reading and launch. The heritage building was a perfectly quaint setting. It was built very close to the year that Charlee LeBeau & The Gambler’s Promise takes place.
